Living in a vacuum
\nEating meat each day
\nDevoid of how it got
\nOnto
\nTheir plate,
\nall I Can say<\/p>\n
From farm to fridge
\nDenied all rights
\nFresh air, sunlight and rain
\nAll of them living creatures
\nWith hearts with legs
\nWith a brain<\/p>\n
So we show them all at random
\nAt a music show
\nReally Show them how
\nthe animals live
\nThe pigs the sheep
\nAnd, the friendly
\ncow<\/p>\n
Tortured
\nThen simply murdered
\nSo you can eat them
\nYou
\nCan roast them with your potatoes
\nAs you like to do<\/p>\n
and just observe their faces
\nHow uneasy they appear
\nHow surprised they flinch and wince away
\nClear they feel the fear
\nWrong headed and impractical
\nPrepossessed and predisposed
\nAn air of gullibility
\nThis whole ball game exposed<\/p>\n
The disbelief and ignorance
\nThe undoubting the unsure
\nThe agnostic and the miscreant
\nBefore they did ignore
\nWith a little hesitation
\nUntenable we feel
\nOn the strength of all of this
\nIt’s something they conceal<\/p>\n
They knew it must be happening
\nIn the CAFO on the park
\nThat bloody awful building
\nSo wretched and so stark
\nThe great iron doors that roll on wheels
\nAnd the roof of corrugation
\nThe gutters that take all the blood
\nAway for their salvation<\/p>\n
The faces of the random people
\nWatching as they die
\nTheir throats cut how they choked
\nAnd gushed
\nWe might now ask them why<\/p>\n
Such evil is created
\nSuch darkness is around
\nThe absurdity of error
\nNow out there on the ground
\nThe delusional insanity
\nThe madness on my mind
\nThe fatuous the fallible
