A wildness is our quality
\nIt’s what we are here for
\nWe are pre programmed with knowledge
\nAnd Instinctively are sure
\nThis is wholly practical
\nGreat lifetimes set this to
\nThe music of the species
\nWhich includes all of you<\/p>\n
From infants stage our innocence
\nIs so misunderstood
\nWe learn much from our mothers
\nAnd all of that is good
\nThe wickedness of humans
\nTheir amorality
\nCan mean they come to capture us
\nAnd stop us being free<\/p>\n
For them it’s not malpractice
\nThey don’t feel their guilt
\nBut truly they are perverted
\nRight up to the hilt
\nAnd the wild souls feel their improbity
\nTheir deviousness and they
\nDon’t want that for their offspring
\nIt happened to me today<\/p>\n
I am a baby elephant
\nMy mother cannot be
\nA matriarch a leader
\nIn a herd still free
\nShe is a splendid teacher
\nWith pre selected power
\nWith lots of ancient knowledge
\nDispensed hour on hour<\/p>\n
But she alas is shackled
\nChained up in a yard
\nCannot lead the others
\nFor her life has got hard
\nCannot pass her knowledge
\nDown the line to me
\nOr any other elephants
\nAnd is upset naturally<\/p>\n
When I Was born she hated it
\nShe is neglected everyday
\nThe humans are so ignorant
\nIn every single way
\nTo bring me into this sad world
\nBy insemination
\nShe,
\nhas really been beside herself
\nShe doesn’t feel those free
\nThoughts of wild and naturalness
\nShe feels challenged actually<\/p>\n
I am not her baby
\nShe doesn’t want to know
\nIt’s kind of illegitimacy
\nUnlawfulness you know
\nAnd so she doesn’t see me
\nAs her child No not at all
\nAnd acted very strangely
\nWhen I tried to call<\/p>\n
Kicked me yes she kicked me
\nI am alive but she
\nDoesn’t want me near her
\nThough I cried incessantly
\nIt’s really made no difference
\nAnd probably will not
\nThough she gave birth to me
\nI still haven’t got<\/p>\n
A mother who will love me
\nI am a waif it seems
\nA manipulated Ele
\nCreated by the teams
\nOf humans artificial
\nNot of Ele time
\nAnd my mother doesn’t want me
\nSo I begin my climb<\/p>\n
Out Into a history
\nA journey to somewhere
\nIn alas captivity
\nA baby in despair
\nAnd torture in his psyche
\nAnd nothing to uphold
\nNo gratitude for living
\nAnd no doubt I will be sold<\/p>\n
To a circus into slavery
\nAnd my poor mum feels that so
\nShe knows not what will become of me
\nAnd how fast I will grow
\nThat I will not feel freedom
\nOr a wildness in my soul
\nBut I am terribly miserable
\nThat that’s to be my role<\/p>\n
And so I cry out painfully
\nIn the hope that I may be
\nAble to escape this world
\nAnd possibly be free
\nThe Summerland it beckons
\nWhere others have gone before
\nA circus life is no life
