A zoo is no place for wild animals, they
\nAre far better off living far far away
\nWherever their true habitat is they,ought
\nBe left there to live there we never should have caught
\nThe bug which is capture, trapping oh no
\nZoo’s are unnatural they are no place to go
\nOf course the wrong climate, no fresh food about
\nNo freedom the habitat offers no doubt
\nStuck in some cage and gawped at all day
\nBy ignorant visitors, yea they may pay
\nTo come in a see all the animals there
\nBut the animals think it’s all bloody unfair<\/p>\n
It’s a man made prison and what have they done
\nNothing wrong they were stolen where is their fun
\nImported into a country afar
\nAnd fed on just alien foods that will scar
\nTheir actual digestion doctored and made
\nNot of their liking and still the parade
\nOf humans comes shouting comes looking comes to
\nTheir sterile enclosures where what do they do<\/p>\n
Get bored half the day and have to combine
\nTheir days inside houses and when they dine
\nOn whatever is thrown at them and people do
\nThrow all sorts of crap at them, honest it’s true<\/p>\n
the animals anger is measured in fact
\nBy the response of people as to how they react
\nShouting and gesturing,throwing things they
\nGet frightened and unsure They don’t know the way
\nHumans are trying to communicate
\nWith off handed cavalier statements of fate
\nSometimes so aweless they think they deserve
\nSomething not knowing that they’ve touched a nerve<\/p>\n
Lack of understanding it’s easy to do
\nWhen animals are not sure what they should do
\nThey often ignore disrespect and despise
\nMake faces throw tantrums that’s about the size
\nZoos are for people not animals, they
\nShould be banned if you ask me banned from today
\nYou can’t work with profits and margins and life
\nFor the animal victims will face lots of strife<\/p>\n
Based around economics financially so
\nThey need to be fed and looked after you know
\nYou can’t think of balance sheets that is not right
\nThe animals need must stay in pure sight
\nAnd all sorts of people bang on their cage
\nGet them so livid into a great rage
\nThrow things and frighten them it just no good
