The Bee is up against it
\nfrom so many
\nwho set their eyes on profit
\nat all cost
\nthese wondrous little insects
\npollinate our food crops
\nand get a dusting
\nof whatever’s tossed<\/p>\n
or sprayed around our green fields
\nand our meadows
\nnow there’s something
\nfor us all to share
\nNeonicotinoids dangerous
\npesticides
\nand Bee’s are coming off the
\nworse for wear<\/p>\n
They don’t get safely back
\nand the phenomena
\nof colony collapse syndrome is here
\nthere are many other reasons
\nwhy Bee’s are getting stressed
\nBut pesticides are one
\nthat breeds great fear<\/p>\n
Bayer sends its lobbyists
\naround the place
\nand despite the bans around
\nin Italy
\nBritain seems to want to
\nrisk and the tragedy now unfolding
\nis getting worse
\nand it who knows where it could be<\/p>\n
Bee numbers are falling
\nquite dramatically
\nat this rate who knows
\njust where they could go
\nIf food crops are not pollinated
\nyields will drop for sure
\nand we could see food prices
\nrise and grow<\/p>\n
out of all proportion to consumers
\nthey would not be able to afford
\nthat could lead to such unrest
\nand riots possibly at best
