The crimson jacketed prince of rogues
\nWith their whips and caps and fancy brogues
\nExpletives here expletives there
\nWhen the sabs are near it’s everywhere
\nExhibitionists that’s their plea
\nIts all about balance
\nAnd how to be
\nThe equilibrium of it all
\nIs based on the hunters clarion call<\/p>\n
If you happen to be living where they hunt
\nIf you have a sweet cat or any such runt
\nThe hounds will get them when chasing, they
\nWill pick them off in their dogged way
\nDisembowel them at a stroke
\nThe ruthless grim faced hounds that choke
\nOn the blood and fur of the vixen who
\nDies a death both vile and true<\/p>\n
Their horses leap over stile and fence
\nHonestly it makes no sense
\nTheir Clatter of hooves down the gravely lane
\nWith the yelping hounds and their dire refrain<\/p>\n
Some of the upper crust gentry who
\nMight be the magistrate a squire or two
\nThe ploughman and the low born class
\nWho wouldn’t be out there on the grass
\nWhittling sticks and polishing brass<\/p>\n
If you say anything hubristic retorts
\nAnd they don’t only hunt in the worst of resorts
\nNo fox gets lucky when they are on the prowl
\nThey had best just turn turtle and talk to my owl<\/p>\n
Blood on their fingers
\nBlood on their hands
\nIts just a wonder
\nThere are no demands
\nFor crimson coated infidels
\nWho strike us dead
