They dumped me 30 miles away
\nLeft me there to die
\nBut I so loved my home you know

\nTill that fateful day
\nWhen they put me in the car

Just imagine your loved ones
\nDoing that to you
\nI watched them as the car sped off
\nNow what could I do
\nI am an old Labrador
\nAlready my legs are sore
\n30 miles that’s terrible
\nBut I did so adore<\/p>\n
All my friends around their place
\nThat little cat I knew
\nOther dogs I met around
\nAnd, the pet shop crew
\nThey must have overlooked the fact
\nThat I was left alone
\nThey couldn’t have done this
\nDeliberately
\nInternally I groan<\/p>\n
But they did as I found out, they did
\nThey didn’t care a bit
\nThey said I stank
\nThat I was rank
\nAnd clearing up my shit
\nPhased them they were done with me
\nAnd I just had to go
\nWhen, nobody loves you
\nThat’s when you really know<\/p>\n
And so I just decided to walk back
\nSo I did
\n30 miles of torture
\nReally in a bid
\nTo remind my folks I was missing them
\nMy endurance caused such stress
\nSure I was exhausted
\nAnd probably looked a mess<\/p>\n
For they were clearly embarrassed
\nOf course when I showed up
\nAnd they shut the doors and locked the gate
\nAnd I saw they had a pup
\nWe don’t ever want to see you
\nEver at our door
\nWhy do you think we abandoned you
\nWe don’t want you anymore<\/p>\n
That was such a set back
\nRefused I felt let down
\nAnd I was so much weaker
\nWhen I got to their town
\nMy feet were very bloody
\nAnd I was cold and wet
\nAnd when he told me to sod off
\nI tried hard not to let<\/p>\n
Him see how that affected me
\nHow many tears I cried
\nMy heart in fact was broken
\nI was aching now inside
\nI let out a yelp but it didn’t help
\nHe threw a stick at me
\nSo I turned around
\nWithout a sound
\nAnd went
\nYea I could see<\/p>\n
Yea. I could feel the hatred
\nAn old dog knows the score
\nIt was clearly obvious
\nThey didn’t want me anymore<\/p>\n
To be unloved is terrible
\nEspecially when you are old
\nTo be unloved and turned away
\nWhen the nights are cold
\nIt gets into your gristle
\nIt breaks your heart it does
\nLiving on the roadside somewhere
\nBut There is just no buzz<\/p>\n
Cars pass by people look
\nBut you are all alone
\nIf you are lucky possibly
\nYou might find a road kill bone
\nLuckily for me I was found
\nAnd of course I stay
\nwith a couple
\nIn another town who love me
\nSo it’s okay<\/p>\n
at first I think they just took me in
\nOut of pity but I feel
