The ridiculousness of hunting
\nIn this day and age
\nThe senselessness and futility
\nIt’s really hard to gauge
\nThey talk just clear cut twaddle
\nOn conservation grounds
\nSuch arrogance and ignorance
\nWhen they are out of bounds<\/p>\n
She talks of the black bear she
\nKilled in Canada and we
\nKnew it was an old bear
\nAnd that’s why she could see
\nThat it was there to be hunted
\nThat why creation calls
\nThis a heartless maxim
\nSpread near and far by fools<\/p>\n
Whether it’s a fox or hare
\nOr a black bear makes no odds
\nHunting is just hunting
\nAppealing to the gods
\nAppealing to the conservationists
\nwho know the score
\nIt’s the truth it’s about wisdom
\nPart and parcel of the law<\/p>\n
She takes her child to watch
\nThe action
\nTo guide him on the way
\nShe feels sorry for the ignorant
\nWho dispute her right to play
\nTo kill to shoot the animals
\nAs a public figure she
\nFeel wonderful just grateful
\nThat the animals can be<\/p>\n
There for her to murder them
\nThe power surge is so good
\nWatching the fall for the good of all
\nThat memory just could
\nStay with her for ever
\nReminding her that she
\nUsed her skills and knowledge
\nAffirmatively<\/p>\n
as for animal rights campaigners
\nShe just feels that we
\nAre ignorant we don’t understand
\nTheir basic pulpitry
\nIs without realization
\nAnd enlightenment
\nAnd so
\nShe carries on regardless
