\nSaw me in a frame of mind
\nGoing off to the place of rainbows
\nSurely I was blind
\nMy faculties played out by life
\nLost in plangency and woe
\nThinking that my dignity
\nHad vanished in the ebb and flow
\nMy darling daughter
\nI can
\nFeel your strength of purpose
\nI know you
\nAre doing everything you can
\nEverything a lass can do<\/p>\n
An exultation I can hear it
\nShedding tears not anymore
\nI am strengthened by your endeavours
\nThey reach deep down into my core<\/p>\n
Your values and your love for me
\nIn melting mood wet eyed
\nI say
\nThank you love for all you are doing
\nMy thoughts are with you
\nAnd they will stay<\/p>\n
