\nThat spreads now everywhere
\nTop down it is causing
\nReally much despair
\nFish a rich commodity
\nWhere some corporations
\nDo
\nExtend their grubby fingers
\nThat might reach the likes of you<\/p>\n
It’s really a massive business
\nConcentrated in
\nNorway Sweden and Vietnam
\nAnd now most places win
\nOver with the latest craze
\nOf farming everything
\nTaking on the natural methods
\nAnd trying hard to bring<\/p>\n
To bear, the added margins of profit
\nAll the way
\nWith a lack of conscience
\nWhere in essence we all pay
\nWhere arrogance and ignorance
\nAre partners what you see
\nIs holding hands together
\nInto adversity<\/p>\n
The many strands of profit levels
\nPut pressure on each to
\nFind a bigger share still
\nThat is what they do
\nAnd when ministries are at it
\nThe big boys get their way
\nImprobity is the likelihood
\nAs is so much dismay<\/p>\n
In reality only Nature
\nKnows how to operate
\nThese canny corporations
\nThey always mitigate
\nMuch and remain hidden
\nUntil that is we find
\nA backlash for humanity
\nWhich is soon underlined<\/p>\n
Wildness is the only answer
\nNo difference of degree
\nThe hands of the mighty are able
\nTo compensate and be
\nProviding the equilibrium
\nAt all levels to ensure
\nEquality and equivalence
\nAnd that’s for evermore<\/p>\n
But we of course are altogether different in what we do
\nParamount are the financial aspects
\nAnd the power base it be true
\nWhich has it’s real shortcomings
\nNo triple bottom line
\nA parasitical failure
\nWith perfection in decline<\/p>\n
Fatty fishes salmon and herring
\nAnd the like
\nthought by some
\nTo be healthy are being farmed
\nThe hike
\nAway from the environment
\nTo the massive profit store
\nCreates an inferior process
\nFar away from Natural law<\/p>\n
And when we think we can do this
\nWith our blinkers on we find
\nThere are some repercussions
\nAnd they can blow our mind
\nA vast array of negatives
\nCan creep up on us and we
\nMight suffer for it which we are
\nNow doing tragically<\/p>\n
It’s then we find that the
\nEthical organisations realise
\nAnd a battle does ensue
\nBetween them and the corporate guys
\nSort of cutting corners
\nThe ignorance out there
\nThe arrogance of the ceo’s
\nAnd the ministry who have covered up
\nWhen the danger siren blows<\/p>\n
Power corrupts and money talks
\nIt shuts the media down
\nExploitation is everywhere
\nIn a sea of it we drown
\nWe are told, omega 3&6 are right
\nSo it’s put in everything we eat
\nAnd it becomes the light<\/p>\n
More and more fish are in the farms
\nAs such what we do see
\nVast amounts of bacteria
\nMountains of it, be
\nCausing vast pollution
\nSea lice everywhere
\nand vast amounts of pesticides
\nWhich many people share<\/p>\n
Fish take on genetic forms
\nSick and really ill
\nNo oxygen to speak of
\nDrugs and more drugs still
\nA soup of incredible horror
\nA terrible cocktail to try
\nPutting them through the established mill
\nWith a big tear in ones eye<\/p>\n
A vile and vicious cycle
\nDrowned in residues
\nFed on the direst pellets
\nWhich is the foulest news
\nDosed with the darkest dioxins
\nAnd then pcb’s
\nAldrin dieldrin terrible stuff
\nThat begins to turn the screws<\/p>\n
Norway and Sweden pollute the fjords
\nAnd the fish from the Baltic Sea
\nAre absolutely dreadful
\nSo much toxicity
\nNorway is covering up the problems
\nAnd prefers to walk away
\nTo make the money and remain calm
\nAnd make consumers pay<\/p>\n
We who trust and eat fish
\nAnd many people do
\nFish consumption is increasing
\n year on year
\nMaybe me and you
\nThe pellets are so shocking
\nWhat the fish now eat
\nIs destroying them completely
\nAnd for consumers, it’s no treat<\/p>\n
The fish are falling foul to it
\nLiver disease and more
\nBleeding from their precious fins
\nBlaming it on the farmers sins
\nAntibiotics galore
\nWe see a chain reaction
\nAnd bacteria Resistant too
\nPanggar is another fish
\nFrom Vietnam they do
\nDraw It from polluted tributaries
\nOf the Mekong such despair
\nAffecting all our immune systems
\nAnd we have to be aware
\nOf our hormones
\nCancer and of course heart disease<\/p>\n
Now of course Its true
\nThey are really killing us
\nAnd the public are on the case
\nBuying into the cooking and eating
\nWe must face
\nthe
\nInevitable
\ndisaster
\nThe
\nEthoxyquin For they
\nAre putting all the residents at risk
\nMore so everyday
\nThe corporate world of finance
\nAt all cost aimed now at us
\nIt seems they care not one iota
\nAnd will never make a fuss
\nIt’s money in their pockets
\nIt’s money in their bank
\nFor us the bold consumer
\nOur future clearly rank<\/p>\n
Lies and loathing our reward
\nThey provoke by using fear
\nThey feel we are revolting
\nAnd are uncaring so you hear
\nNo respect for anyone
\nPassionless are they
\nLament with us and mourn with us
\nFor we know it’s our time to pay<\/p>\n
They juggled with circumstances
\nThey played us at their game
\nThey struggled to make connections
\nTheir excuses all were lame
\nThe sentient ones were sacrificed
\nAs were our heartfelt thoughts
\nWe bought into their ignorance
\nAnd never saw their warts<\/p>\n
Somehow they pasted over
\nThe obvious until
\nThe activists were present
\nInjecting their sweet thrill
