It’s hard to get ones head around
\nThe murdering of seals
\nThese are babies, tiny babies
\nThose frighteningly awful squeals
\nAs men, that’s today’s human kind
\nFathers brothers, and husbands too
\nLeave their homes kiss the children
\nAnd go to work to screw<\/p>\n
Babies screw their tiny necks
\nSmash them till they are dead
\nTill they vomit up their milk and blood
\nEach tiny head
\nWorked over by these monsters
\nTorn and hooked apart
\nIn front of their grieving mothers
\nWho die of a broken heart<\/p>\n
These men, are from Canada
\nNot some horror story
\nTheir government is proud to give
\nThem finance, give them glory
\nWhich they in turn take
\nFrom the Canadian public in tax, as they
\nAgree and pay for murder
\nOn the ice floes everyday<\/p>\n
Blood spattered every which way
\nEyeballs in the air
\nSo much blood the ice turns red
\nSinews and guts that’s what I said
\nStrewn across the ice scape floor
\nAnd Every seal we shall not ignore<\/p>\n
Humanity must wake up to
\nThe darkest vilest
\nAnd it’s so true
\nEvery word I have written here
\nEvery seal soft and sincere
\nInnocent babies
\nCreated to
\nBe Infused with life
\nLike me and you<\/p>\n
Each has a sense
\nAnd a fellow feeling
\nA responsiveness
\nThat’s all revealing
\nAn enthusiasm
\nA fervour for
\nPeace my friends
\nNot constant war<\/p>\n
Not lamentation
\nAnd plangency
\nWeeping and wailing
\nConstancy
\nThe tedium and the disgust
\nOf men with picks who clearly lust<\/p>\n
Over babies they’ve torn apart
\nSo wildly they expose the heart
\nA hideousness
\nA repulsive heap
\nTorn and ravaged
\nThe misgotten reap
\nthe evil that does uglify
\nAnd makes this poet
\nSit and cry<\/p>\n
For this is true vulgarity
\nGrossness and coarseness for vanity
\nThese little babies ripped apart
\nFor the fashion trade
\nHow did it start<\/p>\n
The swanky poshed up modest notes
\nFor monsters clothes trousers and coats
\nIt’s all the vogue in Ottawa
\nAnd other cities you can be a star<\/p>\n
Wearing the clobber of a baby seal
\nThe elegance that it does reveal<\/p>\n
But not in America or the EEC
\nWhere it is banned,banned it be
\nGovernments there make it clear
\nMurdering babies creating that fear
\nIn babies cannot be imported or sold
\nSo its Canada selling it, and making their gold
\nReaping the harvest of created seals
\nWearing the karma and what it reveals
\nHarper their top man says it’s all right
\nAnd the sealers are at it day and night<\/p>\n
Can you imagine the holocaust there
\nThousands of babies in total despair
\nBecause they eat fish Canadians sell
\nAnd in the process create this hell
\nThe fisherman are the sealers we here
\nThey are the bastards that spread wide this fear
\nThey are the bastards who need a good hiding
\nOn them it appears this trade is now riding<\/p>\n
I feel sick to my core
\nI hear seals in my sleep
\nVomiting screaming as their mothers weep
\nThis is so vile this is so sick
\nTo be beaten to death by a big sealers stick<\/p>\n
Threaten you it’s not my way but tonight
\nAfter the tweet storm, I have to write
\nI do hate Canada and I do call
\nFor a boycott of its goods
\nFor it does appal
\nEvery thinking sentient soul
\nIn this world
\nAnd I look to the gods
\nTo where these souls are hurled<\/p>\n
To be slaughtered so mercilessly
\nBy the evil that’s there
\nThe loathing the callous
\nThe vindictive despair<\/p>\n
For years it’s been happening
\nFor years and years
\nImagine for one moment
\nThe terrible fears
\nOf baby seals knowing
\nWhat to happen as they
\nAre dragged hooked and slaughtered
\nBeing made to pay<\/p>\n
No gratitude shown for the iconic soul
\nNo obligation no special role
\nPlaced on the seal the earthling of old
\nSpending all of its life in the bitterly cold
\nMindful and recognised not now at all
\nJust murdered in cold blood
\nFor that is the rule<\/p>\n
The relentless battle
\nThe remorseless cry
\nThey don’t know what pity is
\nUnder the sky
\nThey don’t see how wrong it is
\nOr how rotten inside
\nHow uneven the scales are
\nThey enjoy their ride
\nIt’s wrong from the start
\nWe all can feel this
\nTruly it’s criminal
\nTaking the piss
\nLike this so discriminatory
\nHarmful and wrong
\nOn this fair planet it
\nDoesn’t belong
\nIt’s unjustifiable,inequitable too
