Who wants to play
\nAt Sea World
\nA gig, it sickens me
\nIt truly is unseemliness
\nAn unfashionable place to be<\/p>\n
There,supporting people
\nWho are really rather cruel
\nTo the cetaceans taken from the ocean
\nAnd housed in a concrete pool<\/p>\n
It’s not a nice scenario
\nThe audience is misled
\nThe orcas are unhappy
\nThe dolphins too are led<\/p>\n
Up the garden path
\nAway into the sun
\nMade to do their futile tricks
\nAnd we are told it’s all in fun<\/p>\n
It’s very claustrophobic
\nHair raising stuff in fact
\nIt’s hopeless and its desperate
\nHow does anyone react?<\/p>\n
To being torn out of ones pod
\nAnd committed to a tank
\nWhere nothing exists that’s living
\nAnd the water is so rank<\/p>\n
Fed on dead fish, if their lucky
\nThat’s about their lot
\nWant to play at Sea World
\nNo thank you not a jot<\/p>\n
Many bands have cancelled
\nWhy support them why
\nIt’s a place of tragedy
\nWhere many captured die<\/p>\n
Early and unhappily
\nTo tricks and loneliness
\nTo being depressed and sickly
\nAnd a lot of stress<\/p>\n
Why see a band in sea World
\nAny one who plays
\nThere is lacking understanding
\nThere are so many ways<\/p>\n
To get some entertainment
\nThat watching orcas there
\nBeing thoroughly tortured and living
\nWith despair<\/p>\n
Seems a really bad idea
\nAnd that’s the reason why
\nBands are leaving them in droves
