A street packed full of people
\nAre they like you and I ?
\nTwo legs two eyes presumably
\nSo watching,we must ask why
\nAre they completely bonkers
\nIs insanity the cause
\nThere we see a camel
\nWe see it and we pause<\/p>\n
Wondering what’s the outcome
\nAnd then we understand
\nThe camel is slashed violently
\nBy someone’s evil hand
\nOff it runs blood gushing
\nIt’s panic we can see
\nThe crowd are in the midst of it
\nWhere else would they be<\/p>\n
A bloody bunch of psychopaths
\nWe know, they are everywhere
\nBut this lot Christ I ask myself
\nFor sure so unaware<\/p>\n
Are they unintelligent
\nA feeble minded bunch
\nFallible and fatuous
\nI mean it’s just my hunch
\nWhy do people let this happen
\nWhat’s wrong with their heart
\nThis is a sentient being
\nWith feelings that should start<\/p>\n
Those people to start thinking
\nRealising they
\nare party to a murder
\nWhich will not go away<\/p>\n
It’s blood is splashing everywhere
\nIt’s agony must be
\nTerrible, just watching here
\nIt’s terrorising me
\nIt’s bedlam,for the poor soul
\nSurrounded by these fools
\nClearly raving lunatics
\nAren’t there any rules?<\/p>\n
To stop this awful failing
\nIn humankind to see
\nHow come nobody stopped this
\nComplete insanity<\/p>\n
It’s not for the faint hearted
\nTo watch this evil stuff
\nWeakening before our eyes
\nI have seen enough<\/p>\n
Of this vile dark brutality
\nThose witnessing it, there
\nSeem perfectly aware of it
\nDon’t talk to me of prayer
\nDon’t talk to me of caring
\nWhat I see I know
\nThe evil is so out there
\nAnd this dreadful wave does grow<\/p>\n
Is it because they eat meat
\nAnd this is the reason why
\nThey don’t mind seeing it murdered
\nI mean, it has to die!
\nAre they so dumbed down now
\nThey forget camels feel pain
\nThey forget that it was created
\nLike they were it’s so plain<\/p>\n
But they just seem so nonchalant
\nWatching the camel fly
\nFor me and I am sure for most of you
\nThere are tears in your eye<\/p>\n
You have that sinking feeling
\nThis soul, you will not forget
\nIt will be present in your dreams
\nSomething to regret
\nBut that crowd appeared to watch it
\nTo experience it’s pain
\nAnd some will want to eat it’s meat
\nTo be part of the chain<\/p>\n
This now dead lovely creature
\nCooked and spiced will be
\nSoon part of their body
\nSomething we can see
\nHow sick this world is becoming
\nHow numb it’s people are
\nAnd the animal earthlings are suffering
\nAnd our bodies we too scar<\/p>\n
Paying homage to this camel
\nSuffering it’s pain
\nAnd being the first to eat it’s flesh
\nWe have to break that chain
\nWe have to come to terms with grief
\nIt’s grief, it’s family who
\nShare the same love we share
