A New York park gives rise
\nTo a bust of Snowdon
\nBelief and an assurance
\nSome credibility
\nTo a Nation and it’s people
\nA confessionary steeple
\nWhose truth and all it’s tenets
\nClearly be<\/p>\n
What Snowdon did was heroic
\nWe all know that
\nDespite the state, the fear
\nThe unquestionable, he
\nStood his ground
\nand exposed
\nTheir darkly secrets
\nFreedom from surveillance
\nAnd Liberty,
\nthe schism of the
\nDrowned<\/p>\n
Fort green Park was chosen
\nFor the siting
\nand now he stares
\nacross the grassy green
\nConvincing those who
\nKnow of his involvement
\nUndoubting and unquestioning
\nThe mean<\/p>\n
May look upon this soulful
\nInstallation
\nWith bitter heart and eyes
\nClosed to what’s real
\nOthers more enlightened to the science
\nOf it all
\nWill know exactly how this man
