The Crow is a Joe
\nQuite a dear so and so
\nA thief a collector
\nOf sorts
\nHe wears his tuxedo
\nAs black as the night
\nAnd really has his share of thoughts<\/p>\n
Talking of bird brains
\nThis fellow excites
\nHis perception is really so good
\nHe’s attracted by bling he can’t really sing
\nBut is quite a wizard who should<\/p>\n
Come to terms with the
\nGlamour of wildness
\nHe is bewitched by it all
\nI’ve heard tell
\nThe magic within him
\nMore than superstition
\nIt’s his purity that serves
\nHim well<\/p>\n
An honourable soul
\nWhose stays in control
\nOf the forest that is what we hear
\nA benevolent guy with such a beady eye
\nWhose fondness is mixed up with fear
\nThe crow is a joe
\nAn Eagle perhaps
\nA bold suit of feathers
\nAll kept under wraps<\/p>\n
He compliments bird families
\nYes and the rest
\nAnd is quite a stickler
\nAt building a nest
\nYou will find him at Beltaine
\nAnd Samhain where he
\nAlways flies a straight line
