\nA 7 year old

Isolated in a

\nJust a wet rag
\nA Shirt
\nJust So rootless
\nUnsettled
\nDisturbed and so hurt
\nBanished and lost

He Has lost touch
\nWith reality
\nWinter bites
\nOnes face turns blue
\nChilled to the marrow
\nWhat to do<\/p>\n
Shiver and shake
\nWhimper and cry
\nThe chill
\nIt’s still the rigour

Niveous
\nPerishing
\nFreeze and chatter
\nGod forsaken
\nand what’s a matter<\/p>\n
Forlorn un friended shoes run down
\nUnmended
\nNow in New York town<\/p>\n
People passing
\nAnoraks
\nScarves and thick coats
\nOn their backs<\/p>\n
Bags of shopping
\nNo one cares
\nNo one speaks
\nAnd No one shares<\/p>\n
Just one dark brother
\nhello son
\nAre you alone
\nWhat have you done?<\/p>\n
I am abandoned
\nI am sad
\nI have no mother
\nI have no dad<\/p>\n
I am homeless also
\nYou have my coat
\nHere’s what you do
\nJust take this note
\nHere is some money
\nLet us see
\nWhat we can do
\nLet’s Have some tea<\/p>\n
So many passed by
\nDidn’t stop
\nThey did not care

Down on the sidewalk
\nShivering hard

Disrespectful
\nSarcastic too
\nRidiculed him

He was a beggar

Nobody cares in this world
