\nWas having a punt
\nWhich led to a deer’s
\nDire despair<\/p>\n
Their terrier men
\nTook umbrage to those
\nSaboteurs who tried to aid
\nA deer that was injured
\nBeing pulled by its legs
\nIt’s fate tragically had
\nBeen laid<\/p>\n
Apparently there was
\nContrariety
\nA whole different world
\nOut there we could see
\nThe hunter the hunted
\nAnd those hopeful hounds
\nThe brave saboteurs
\nDoing their rounds<\/p>\n
There is open conflict
\nNo common ground
\nDiscord, it happens
\nAlmost every hound
\nIs after the deer or the fox
\nIn the field
\nIt’s all bitter sweet
\nThough somewhat concealed<\/p>\n
Much disagreement
\nLike chalk and cheese
\nDiscrepant and incongruous
\nSome try to please
\nEmotional thoughts
\nCause exceptional pain
\nIt happens a lot
\nAnd will happen again<\/p>\n
A Disequilibrium happens
\nWe see
\nA lop sidedness and a disparity
\nRetrieval recovery neutralisation
\nMeasure for measure
\nAnd of course reparation<\/p>\n
Enter the boys in blue
\nLeading the way
\nOut to manoeuvre
\nTrying to say
\nThe saboteurs had best
\nNow Leave the place
\nGet off private land
\nAnd be gone without trace<\/p>\n
Meanwhile the terrier men
\nDid their thing
\nDragged the poor creature
\nTrying to bring
\nClearly its agony
\nEgregiously
\nWas taking its toll
\nAs many could see<\/p>\n
Embroiled in this tangle
\nThis whole disarray
\nThis slovenly discord
\nWhy did this deer pay
\nThe sab’s could have helped
\nBut it wasn’t to be
\nAnd the poor Deer it suffered
\nSo tragically<\/p>\n
Before the courts
\nThe 4 saboteurs
\nWere freed of the charge
\nAnd it occurs
\nHad they been given
\nThe chance to help out
\nWould have helped the poor Deer
\nWithout any doubt<\/p>\n
The police too were arrogant
\nIt did appear
\nWhere there was courage
\nWe also saw fear
\nChangeable fickleness
\nTransientness too
\nAnd a realization
\nOf just getting through<\/p>\n
The saboteurs clearly
\nWere happy to be
\nRegarded as right
\nAnd with consistency
\nAcknowledged as capable
\nCogent and strong
\nAnd in point of fact
