Living under the sea
\nWearing armour all day
\nYou would think we’d be safe
\nThat we wouldn’t have to pay
\nBut up against humans
\nInexplicably
\nThey have the notion
\nThat it has to be<\/p>\n
Our diet is terrible
\nWe choose to eat
\nCarrion we are the vultures
\nOur meat
\nis made up of
\nWhat has gone rotten but you
\nStill like to consume
\nUs
\nAlas it is true<\/p>\n
But why punish us
\nIn such a way
\nWhat have we done to deserve
\nThis today
\nAt the best boiled alive
\nAt the worst slapped in trays
\nAnd then suffocated
\nJust two of the ways
\nNirvana is ours
\nAt the flick of a flame
\nIt’s a terrible death
\nBut it’s part of your game<\/p>\n
Now in a market in Florence
\nIt seems
\nA store manager there
\nAnd some of his teams
\nPack us in trays and then plastic clear
\nAnd offer us for sale
\nWith foreboding and fear
\nPronto pronto selling us fast
\nTouch the clear plastic
\nAnd yes be aghast
\nWe move underneath
\nWe are still alive

\nIn the fridge in the cooking pot
\nCan we keep hold<\/p>\n
Of life on this mortal coil
\nKnowing that we
\nWill end up boiled red
\nYes that’s where we will be
\nHumans are vile creatures
\nThats what we know
\nAnd despite our armour
\nIt really does show
\nThe wicked intent
\nThe degeneration
\nThe shamelessness
\nAnd the perverted creation
\nHow man un kind has been reduced
\nLet’s us say
\nTo a carrion minded
\nImmoral display
\nGraceless infernal
\nIndecent as hell
\nAnd this point of sale
\nCooked up as well<\/p>\n
On this point it is frightful
\nWe try to remain
\nAlive in good health
\nBut this is the bane
\nWe choke lack of air
\nLack of care lack of heart
\nWhy do this to us
\nHow did it all start
\nWhat is it about
\nThe pain of it all
\nBoiling alive
\nWhere we tumble and fall<\/p>\n
It’s terribly stressful
\nInsidious stuff
\nPollution is everywhere
\nWe’ve had enough
\nYour misfeasance is shocking
\nWhat can we do
\nOnce we are trapped
\nIn those pots
\nHow we rue
\nThe darkness you carry
\nYour murderous ways
\nIt’s so all one sided
\nIt’s like a malaise<\/p>\n
