Degeneration of a nation
\nClearly comes to mind
\nThey built the pyramids of Giza
\nTheir panoramic find
\nGeometric wizardry
\nAlignment with the moon
\nA feat of engineering
\nClearly so in tune<\/p>\n
With everything spectacular
\nMenkaure a wondrous sight
\nA vast plain of sandy tracts
\nAnd just the brightest light
\nWe stand in awe as shadows
\nAre music to the eye
\nAnd now we see a lone dog
\nWe hear it’s heartfelt cry
\nTied up to some pole
\nUpon the sand the sands of time
\nA stray tHat shares the
\nSpirit of the ancients
\nAnd the rhyme <\/p>\n
A crowd
\nof bloody reprobates
\nWatches as three men
\nBeat the hell out of this dog
\nWe have to ask now when<\/p>\n
They left the world of culture
\nAnd sank into the abyss
\nWhat of the Egyptian spirit
\nAnd,of course,Anubis
\nWe watch the soul departing
\nIn agony and pain
\nBeing slashed with all their might
\nWhat have they to gain
\nThrashing this poor innocent
\nEnslaved in doubt and bile
\nThe monsters are awake to it
\nSuch terror it’s so vile
\nLook at them mean and craven hearted
\nThe rabble and the horde
\nRiff raff scum now so uncultured
\nSuch infamy abroad
\nObnoxious and repellant
\nThe hatred one can see
\nAnd it’s levelled against the innocent
\nHow on earth can this now be?
\nLook as they flay and bluster
\nTheir lack of consciousness
\nA dark disgrace for the human race
\nSuch illegality<\/p>\n
To sacrifice a poor lost soul
\nClearly doomed it’s wretched role
\nCrossing the path of the human scum
\nAnd feeling the wrath
\nOf the beating drum
\nWhere’s the compassion and empathy
\nWhere is the love of humanity
\nWhere is the culture the art and form
\nWhere is the beauty
\nWhy does the storm
\nTake out the Angels
\nThe voiceless ones
