She sits in the silence
\nUnder a sky
\nOf purple and black
\nWhere the corn ears are high
\nAcutely aware of her
\nWhereabouts, she
\nLoves the sweet nose gay
\nSome enchanted see
\nThe owl soft and downy
\nThe heron aghast
\nWith his meditation
\nHis shadow is cast
\nAmongst the bull rushes
\nThat sensory curl
\nThe twitch of her whiskers
\nEach eye a soft pearl
\nGushing with gold
\nA mercurial stare
\nSo fleet of foot
\nSuddenly she’s not there<\/p>\n
Scampering this way
\nAnd that way, for she
\nIs a magical soul
\nWith such mystery
\nAbout her
\nSo Mindful
\nNo dogs need to chase
\nJust take a look at her
\nStare at her
\nBeautiful face
\nShe can leap
\nShe can burrow
\nA cherub of sorts
\nBewitched and bewildered

Fly agaric comes up
\nWith Dawn’s special light
\nWhen the snowdrops burst forth
\nAll Incredibly white
\nBunches and bunches
\nForce their bold way
\nOut of the frost cover every day
\nShe sits in the shadows
\nIn the woods, she
\nLives in the now
