{"id":19887,"date":"2015-01-26T01:57:55","date_gmt":"2015-01-26T01:57:55","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/cooksdelight.co.uk\/blog\/?p=19887"},"modified":"2015-01-26T02:05:18","modified_gmt":"2015-01-26T02:05:18","slug":"his-passing-wasnt-easy","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/cooksdelight.co.uk\/blog\/2015\/01\/his-passing-wasnt-easy\/","title":{"rendered":"His passing wasn&#8217;t easy"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>listen to my dear old Dad<br \/>\nTo his last hours on earth<br \/>\n93 years old he was<br \/>\nSince his mum gave birth<br \/>\nBlind and deaf and helpless<br \/>\nAnd in a lot of pain<br \/>\nThey promised they wouldn&#8217;t neglect him<br \/>\nNor put him through the strain<\/p>\n<p>He was diagnosed with a brain tumour<br \/>\nHis suffering was immense<br \/>\nHe was fine upstanding man<br \/>\nAnd a war hero with a sense<br \/>\nOf valour in his veins<br \/>\nHe had fought, for  his country<br \/>\nWhen called upon to be<br \/>\nHe Gave so much of himself<br \/>\nIn the end he could not free<\/p>\n<p>Himself.
