\nWe have to realise how much
\nAbuse they get and why
\nMilked to death for humans

Many of these mothers
\nCannot walk a single pace
\nThey are crippled with arthritis
\nLook into their face
\nTheir lives have been.
\nIntolerable
\nMorning noon and night
\nBeaten Till they are black and blue
\nWith all the farmers might<\/p>\n
Dragged along a rope around their heads
\nAnd necks they be
\nAlmost strangled in dire straits
\nOf what is such
\nThis abuse so horrific
\nNo empathy is shown
\nExposure to this terror
\nIs clearly full blown<\/p>\n
There is noble distinction
\nAn optimism, they
\nAre amazingly light hearted
\nIn a charming sort of way
\nUnruffled and quite placid
\nExalted to be sure
\nWith a kindness and a loving
\nThat stems from out of their core<\/p>\n
Despite the inexcusable
\nMan abuses and
\nApparently is incumbent
\nThough fails to understand
\nThe cows take such a thrashing
\nSuch a bashing this is their
\nWay of getting through this
\nAnd helping them to bear<\/p>\n
The worst of man’s deception
\nThe cruelty he let’s
\nHis low life operative dairymen
\nAnswer to the debts
\nNeglect takes on a toughness
\nFor both parties you’ll agree
\nThe dairy is an evil place
\nNot so most now would see<\/p>\n
And milk maids with their golden hair
\nTheir aprons and their tights
\nTheir pretty pink cheeks all a glow
\nWhich the outside world invites
\nOne has to try to comprehend
\nWhy abused cows are still
\nGiving so much of themselves
\nAnd apparently will still<\/p>\n
And why they take the torture
\nAnd The beatings
\nas they do
\nWhy they do not retaliate
\nAnd try to run them through
\nCrush them with their massive bulk
\nGenerate some fear
\nIt’s just not in their makeup
\nThat seemingly is clear<\/p>\n
the dairy has a public face
\nOf decency
\nBut we must brace
\nOurselves for truth and honesty
\nAnd what appears now tragically
\nTo be the real case Violence does
\nPermeate the sheds a buzz
