Aquifers in California
\nHave recently found that they
\nHaving fracking water in the wells
\nSo says the EPA
\nAsking for a written report into this vile affair
\nWhen everybody’s water is suspect
\nThey don’t care<\/p>\n
These fracking energy corporations
\nTie us up in knots
\nMost of them cajoled and promised
\nAll run by big shots
\nExempted from laws of the land
\nAnd given powers to be
\nWhat they bloody felt like
\nThat’s if you asked me<\/p>\n
If I polluted half of California
\nThen I would get a stay in prison they
\nOn the other hand get bloody bonuses
\nPeople are paid to look the other way
\nGiven the immunity from all the regulation
\nWe are told to bow our heads
\nFor they are our true salvation<\/p>\n
One day people will wake up
\nWhen it is too late
\nWhen they have lost their precious homes and lands
\nFor that is the trait
\nThey wake up and they realise
\nLaws were set in motion
\nTo basically issue injunctions
\nAnd a free promotion<\/p>\n
Employment it was set to rise
\nThe local economy too
\nBut when’s they fuck with our water
\nAnd our air
