\nPlantain and clover sweet
\nWild plants they were up to it
\nInstinctively they knew
\nThe plants that kept them healthier

Then the corporate world took over
\nProfits became power
\nSupermarkets paying less and less
\nAnd less and how!
\nSo cows then got the treatment
\nMouldy straw and meat
\nBones and hair and feathers
\nAnd grass became their treat<\/p>\n
Till in the trade they cottoned on
\nTo grass fed beef which they
\nSaid was of course better
\nIn every sodding way
\nBack to their heritage diet
\nAnd charge the public more
\nAnd cut the margin takers
\nKnocking on their door<\/p>\n
That meant cows were happier
\nHa ha ha ha ha
\nAnd now would you believe it
\nThey have come so far
\nGMO grass
\nFrom today
\nRoundup ready all the way
\nSo cows will eat the GM crap
\nAnd we shall get it too
\nAnd pay a nice fat premium
\nBecause that’s what we do<\/p>\n
And we are all becoming cow like
