\nSaw Ruth, a sweet soul
\nShe came to the clinic
\nJust about in control
\nShe had her faculties
\nNot helped by those
\nWho purported to love her
\nThe vile so and so’s<\/p>\n
Dehydrated and starving
\nAdvanced emaciation
\nImagine her feelings
\nSuch a transformation
\nFrom a beautiful soul
\nFull of vivacious charm
\nTo one of neglect and unloved
\nBut still calm<\/p>\n
An old skull fracture
\nJust 3 years of age
\nZach’s rescue had rescued her
\nIt’s off the page!
\nHer suffering really
\nSkeletal and sick
\nDiscarded on a dump site
\nBy some human dick<\/p>\n
A compassionate construction worker
\nThen found
\nWhat looked to be just living trash
\nOn the ground
\nIn the vilest of states
\nBut with eyes that did show
\nShe was in great pain
\nBut not ready to go<\/p>\n
She still had some spirit
\nShe still could appeal
\nTo the heart of a stranger
\nHer aura was real
\nHe called for help and
\nHer rescue was made
\nThey all need funds
\nBut her bills will be paid<\/p>\n
Her former guardians
\nLeft her for dead
\nIn a trash heap of all places
\nAngels ahead
\nOf the demons who left with them
\nThey were taken away
\nJust leaving the angels
\nWith Ruth on that day<\/p>\n
Ruth is recovering
\nNow Thankfully
\nThough Many less fortunate
\nDie tragically
\nWe must keep our hearts open
\nKeep our eyes peeled
\nListen out for the whimpering
\nThat is often concealed
\nIn the rigours of man un kind
\nHis kith and kin
\nWho give up to such evil
