There appears no salvation
\nFor the Navajo Nation
\nWhy must they wrestle
\nwith fear all their days
\nIts American brothers
\nand probably others
\ndeny to them all of the ways
\nThey came with their corporate dogma
\nUranium then was their prize
\nUsing the Navajo people
\nto gather, but telling them lies
\nUnthinkingly it has polluted
\nThe Navajo lands and of course
\nThe corporates crept
\nthey are very adept
\naway in the darkness
\na source
\nof conjecture
\nnow threatens the water
\nall of it was there’s by right
\nand what can be done
\nhow the corporates run
\nfor the Navajo its far from bright<\/p>\n
It was clear from the onset that
\npeople would suffer
\nthis was as clear as the sky
\nIt was money and profit
\nand corporate wealth
\nthat drove them to mine here
\nthats why
\nthey cleaned up a bit
\nbut they knew it would surface
\nanxiety came to the fore
\nThe Church Rock Disaster
\nmoved things on, much faster
\na tailing dam burst
\nand what’s more
\nThe half life for this sickly science
\nis measured in millions of years
\nThe Navajo Nation will see no
\nSalvation
\nexcept in the worst of their fears
\nThe US must now help them quickly
\nfor otherwise it will be seen
\nas a nation that knowingly harms
\nits own people
\nLike The Navajo clearly have been
\nExploited and put down
\nand ravaged
\nTheir land and their water supply
\nUranium Mining and Corporate profit
\nhas been terrifically high
\nFor the Navajo nation
\nwere guardians who
\nhave all of the right on their side
\nWhilst Corporate America
\nbulldozes its way
\nand the Navajo have been denied<\/p>\n
I have to tell them
\nthat time’s running out
\nThe Navajo don’t have a choice
\nThey can’t stay around drinking
\npolluted water
\nSomeone must now use their voice
\nTo cry out aloud to the world
\nout there who
\nmust listen to what is pure sin
\nCorporate profit has really messed up
\nthis is fact, this is now, its not spin
\nWe have to come up with a solution here
\nThe Navajo must now be heard
\nOr America’s influence out in the world
