They are truly blameless
\nInoffensive too
\nThey are the most plausible mothers
\nWith a willingness all through
\nThey constantly give of themselves
\nComrades to the end
\nDevoted loyal and faithful
\nThey are a lifetime friend<\/p>\n
Docile and distinctly kind
\nSo to replicate a mood
\nOf anger from the human beings
\nMost of whom are rude
\nFrustrated under paid perhaps
\nAnd guilty of such wrath
\nWho beat and harm and are far from calm
\nAs they share their chosen path<\/p>\n
Cows are very sensitive
\nAnd suffer a great deal
\nThey have their expectation
\nFor them their calves are real
\nThey carry them and so to find
\nThem kidnapped straight away
\nPuts so much pressure on them
\nIt truly makes them pay<\/p>\n
The constant milking processes
\nThe filthy stalls they keep
\nThe vile food and the chemicals
\nWhat they get they reap
\nIll health and lameness often
\nAnd suffering is vile
\nAnd Painful in the scheme of things
\nWhilst the human beings guile<\/p>\n
The shocking and the kicking
\nThe tail pulling and the rest
\nThe kicking and the forces
\nThat clearly now do test
\nAny mother anywhere
\nRewarded with such pain
\nCrippled by the lifestyle
\nThat rapidly does drain<\/p>\n
The life force out of some of them
\nTheir legs and feet are sore
\nThey suffer how they suffer
\nTheir pain is very raw
\nThe loss of calves the loss of care
\nThe loss of love it’s everywhere<\/p>\n
A mother needs her babies she
\nCannot expect such darkness to be
\nTaking over her life but they
\nHave to suffer every day
\nThe slaughterhouse is the place where they
\nSooner or later go their way
\nAnd if their walking is far from good
\nThey are dragged there sadly
\nLike they are made of wood<\/p>\n
Torn across Rubble and grit
\nOver steps like so much shit
\nPushed and pulled and hurt real bad
\nA downers life is only sad
\nA heart as big as any heart
\nBut aching limbs up on the cart
\nTo the slaughterhouse
\nTo those rusty chains

\nThe poor cow thrusts it’s one good eye
\nOnto the slaughter man
\nThat guy the last guy she will
