Every 15 minutes an Elephants dies
\nCut down by poachers
\nCan you hear their cries
\nOnce they were trumpeting
\nNow they are screams
\nThe ivory hunters
\nTheir present dreams<\/p>\n
Come from blood sweat and snot
\nAnd more blood, as they hack
\nThe tusks off the elephants
\nNow on their back
\nKilled in cold blood
\nBy the murdering scum
\nFunding terrorism
\nThat beat of the drum<\/p>\n
Grows louder and louder
\nAs Africa dies
\nThe monsters are at it
\nThe prey of the wise
\nTusks are the new gold
\nThe fortune is there
\nAnd As more and more elephants die
\nIt’s more rare<\/p>\n
Despite the market being
\nTerribly cruel
\nIt’s kept alive tragically
\nBy one and all
\nGovernments turn their heads
\nAnd won’t see what’s there
\nWith too many at it and getting a share
\nIs there an answer
\nI think not today
\nCorruption is rife
\nAnd the peoples decay
\nTragically following
\nSteeped in the pain
