We watch the doleful,the soulful, the awful
\nThe great pain and suffering coming to those
\nStrays from the streets
\nStolen from backyards
\nConsigned to the leather trade
\nNow I suppose<\/p>\n
Sitting in cages suffering badly
\nWatching the evil played out in their eyes
\nThey sense the tumultuous
\nHear all the agony
\nPulsating beings who now realise<\/p>\n
Their fate at the hands of the monsters
\nIn China
\nServants of corporate western stores here
\nNot paid a fair wage and so cutting corners
\nIncreasing the evil and also the fear<\/p>\n
Many have come from homes loved by people
\nWho lost them and realised what just might be
\nDragged out and clubbed in front of each other
\nThe blood and the snot and the filth
\nAll can see<\/p>\n
Behind Knightsbridge awnings
\nThe corporate Jekylls hide in their boardrooms
\nSilently they
\nuse an injunction
\nThey have no compunction
\nThey don’t feel or see
\nThey are withering away<\/p>\n
It’s all about profit and margins
\nAnd savings
\nAnd earnings it’s all about balance sheets they
\nAre drunk on the futures and the derivatives
\nAs for the Chinese dogs
\nSo what if they pay<\/p>\n
They may have a pedigree dog in their own homes
\nThey may have a wife with a cat
\nBut in fact
\nThey all are so dead as to how
\nThey accumulate all of the wealth
\nAs such do not react<\/p>\n
Except with denial along with their customers
\nRich born of taking advantage out there
\nWatching those faces not those in high places
\nBut the poor dogs in China’s who reek of despair<\/p>\n
You who would go there collecting their bags there
\nSupporting their evil
\nAnd seeing it grow
\nMore and more cats and dogs
\nStolen and ravaged
\nAnd murdered and beaten
\nYou don’t want to know<\/p>\n
It’s all about arrogance
\nIt’s all about that shit
\nPity it doesn’t come into their heart
\nThe rancour and soreness
\nThe gall and the bitterness
\nThe virulent nature
\nWhere do you start<\/p>\n
Dry eyed and callous
\nRuthless remorseless
\nAnimal rights they are lost
\nFor all time
\nIn the puffing cigars and the
\nOlde XO cognac
\nThese intolerable bastards are no
\nMore than slime<\/p>\n
We watch as the doleful look out
\nAt the sinful
\nA bin full of parts
\nAll the blood and the gore
\nLeather stripped off them
\nThe wailing is dreadful
\nAnubis is steadying himself
\nAnd he starts
\nThe millions of animals
\nDying in China
\nSo that the margins
\nThey make here just grow<\/p>\n
They are the cancer
\nThat spreads through the planet
\nSo many victims fall foul of that woe
\nPowerless to fight back
\nPowerless to motivate
\nThey will be murdered
\nAll part of the show<\/p>\n
And the masses that wash
\nThough the rich streets of London
\nWith designers bags
\nPacked to the hilt
\nWho tell us who stand their
\ndemanding they listen
\nTo all of the blood
\nThat is now being spilt<\/p>\n
To the agonised cries
\nTo the woeful who lie
\nBemoaning their lot and mourning
\nTheir losses
\nThey blubber and grizzle
\nAnd snivel and die<\/p>\n
Utter despondency
\nTotal rejection
\nClearly dispirited
\nThere’s no protection
\nLaws we have here
\nThey do not have in China
\nSo rich corporations
\nGo there and buy<\/p>\n
And they put pressure on price
\nBe assured of that
\nSo it’s the animals that have to pay
\nThe rich have no thought
\nHave no care whatsoever
\nIt’s the money they are making
\nThat is their sport<\/p>\n
What we have to do is wake up
\nTo the moment
\nForget about price
\nWhere pain is involved
\nForget about blaming the
\nPoor sods in China
\nThat isn’t fair
\nAnd does not suffice<\/p>\n
It’s the corporate grease balls
\nThe rich and the famous
\nThe big stores that make out
\nThey offer white light
\nThey are dark as can be
\nThey stem from the evil
\nThey are gutter dwellers
