50 metres isn’t very far away
\nBut that’s the separation that’s imposed
\nBetween food grade and non food grade
\nBut to me a simple poet
\nleaving it to fate to me seems closed
\nDown for wind blows pollen every which way
\nAnd 50 metres it’s so very short
\nSo there can be no guarantee in my book
\nWell honestly that is what I thought
\nSo LEAR and HEAR then comes to mind
\nAnd I wonder
\nIf HEAR is grown on set aside maybe
\nLEAR can be contaminated often
\nBY HEAR and if that’s so
\nThen possibly
\nA simple bottle in a store
\nCould also
\nContain more of the substance than was thought
\nIf this was the case it could create a problem
\nIn that case why is it the common trait
\nEvery supermarket in the country
\nHas switched to it for their own
\nLabel why
\nIt really is in everything they market
\nIs it because the profit margins high
\nThe wind takes pollen everywhere
\nAnd it’s therefore far and wide
\nPlants come up all over and thus without analysis
\nOf every single batch we could now slide
\nDown into the dark abyss
\nSomeone out there must have thought it through
\nI just hope that the powers to be are ready
