\nPut to sleep
\nIt’s like our babies

\nWarmth and gentle rest
\nAsleep to strife and pain
\nThe only trouble here of course
\nThey won’t wake up again<\/p>\n
They are dead
\nAnd that is final
\nTheir eyes will never see the
\nBlues skies or the ocean
\nOr where they love to be
\nThey will not taste their favourite food
\nOr romp and chase their ball
\nThe lethal injection has been sought
\nAnd they must face the wall<\/p>\n
Our karmic debt for ordering
\nThis means of death will be
\nBastet and Anubis are awakened
\nAnd of course they see
\nAnd feel the victims Lamentations
\nAnd they know that pain
\nEverybody bloodies their hands
