\nAnd with their health won’t pay
\nSimplot died thus he won’t see
\nThe detrimental sphere
\nThe silenced genes for sugar
\nFor it will become clear
\nThese potatoes are genetic
\nIt’s a complex world down there
\nPolishing up the grains on offer
\nThat brings the new despair<\/p>\n
It may profit the producer
\nAnd for the pesticides they
\nWill sell,far more herbicide
\nBecause that is the way
\nIt is about the profit
\nIt is about the souls
\nIt is about eugenics
\nThey are taking on the roles<\/p>\n

\nThey refuse to label the GMO
\nIt’s impertinence
\nAt play
\nIt’s trucelent and detracting
\nOf honesty and care
\nIt is a case of rudery
\nWhich simply isn’t there<\/p>\n
And so this large potato
\nBrown skinned mealy feel
\nWill be adequate for French fries
\nAnd of course a good deal
\nChlororothalonil will still be used
\nAnd this a carcinogen too
\nAnd nothing will be labelled
\nSo we won’t know what to do<\/p>\n
Genetics is the way ahead
\nFor the corporation men
\nThey will make their killing
\nIt’s far away from zen
\nIt’s all about the margin
\nFor the producer year on year
\nThe grower will pay handsomely
