What is circus really<\/p>\n
and how can primates be<\/p>\n
expected to do tricks for people<\/p>\n
who pay to come and see<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
of course these are wild animals<\/p>\n
who live in forests, they<\/p>\n
cooped up in some wagon<\/p>\n
chained up all the day<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
how can that be sensible<\/p>\n
how can that be fair<\/p>\n
how can that be anything but cruel<\/p>\n
how can we share<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
that kind of life with wild souls<\/p>\n
just to make some dough<\/p>\n
force them to be our slaves<\/p>\n
and fill them full of woe#<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
deprive them of their natural ways<\/p>\n
deprive them of their food<\/p>\n
beat them when they cannot do it<\/p>\n
its altogether crude<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
circus is a concentration camp<\/p>\n
that charges for<\/p>\n
us to show our torture to the public<\/p>\n
who ignore<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
the pain and all the suffering<\/p>\n
they are ignorant they don’t care<\/p>\n
most a pissed up to the eyebrows<\/p>\n
knowing nothing about fair<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
these circuses are run by people<\/p>\n
pressured to try and make<\/p>\n
a living out of all of this<\/p>\n
and so they are forced to break<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
the spirit of these animals<\/p>\n
beat them every day<\/p>\n
torture them and make their lives<\/p>\n
hell we make them pay<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
a high price for their capture<\/p>\n
we are so inhumane<\/p>\n
we ourselves are the low life<\/p>\n
for causing so much pain<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
carted about from one place to another<\/p>\n
its not right<\/p>\n
chained up in some dirty wagon<\/p>\n
every single night<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
no fresh water no fresh fruit<\/p>\n
no care no love at all<\/p>\n
just sworn at and beaten<\/p>\n
its the vilest life<\/p>\n
to be at the beck and call<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
of trainers and of pikeys<\/p>\n
they want to make a show<\/p>\n
and you are the butt of all of it<\/p>\n
and know one seems to know<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
circus is an anathema<\/p>\n
its passed its sell by date<\/p>\n
people are not interested<\/p>\n
its a dying trait<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
its dirty cramped and horrible<\/p>\n
living on the street<\/p>\n
out of \u00a0grubby wagons<\/p>\n
it really does unseat<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
even the hardiest circus folk<\/p>\n
through all weather they are<\/p>\n
living out of musty tents<\/p>\n
which tragically do scar<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
