a tourists paradise<\/p>\n
but again \u00a0we see the cruelty<\/p>\n
and really its not nice<\/p>\n

troops of elephants<\/p>\n
hitched up and walking all the day<\/p>\n
on concrete roads and this is not<\/p>\n
good for them, for they<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
must withstand the heat and concrete<\/p>\n
there is no give and so<\/p>\n
their feet oh how they suffer<\/p>\n
everywhere they go<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
also there is a \u00a0circus<\/p>\n
packed with the ignorant who<\/p>\n
go there for a good time<\/p>\n
forgetting what they do<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
elephant riding contraptions<\/p>\n
damaging their soul<\/p>\n
trained with deprivation<\/p>\n
and \u00a0beating them a role<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
the workers do apparently<\/p>\n
without an ounce of thought<\/p>\n
these are sentient beings<\/p>\n
who do get so distraught<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
but just have to continue<\/p>\n
they have no course to run<\/p>\n
and of course it is the tropics<\/p>\n
under the hot sun<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
beating down relentlessly<\/p>\n
the anguish of it all<\/p>\n
day after day night after night<\/p>\n
and really there is a wall<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
of silence from the handlers<\/p>\n
no water \u00a0when they are dry<\/p>\n
so torture is a consequence<\/p>\n
and that now is no lie<\/p>\n

the tourists flood there they<\/p>\n
are culpable for the cruelty<\/p>\n
all along the way<\/p>\n
