Holding back my tears<\/p>\n
is hard<\/p>\n
Imagining the pain<\/p>\n
these indians are pitiless<\/p>\n
heartless their refrain<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
relentless torture<\/p>\n
on a baby in great fear<\/p>\n
with a great big heart and soul<\/p>\n
tied inside a wooden trap<\/p>\n
and prodded with a pole<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
beaten on the head with a claw hammer<\/p>\n
till it bleeds<\/p>\n
this will break the spirit<\/p>\n
and, this now succeeds<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
in wounding this poor creature<\/p>\n
its suffering is there<\/p>\n
for all to see<\/p>\n
no respect whatsoever<\/p>\n
just cruel indignity<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
and its all about the tourists<\/p>\n
the blame is put on us<\/p>\n
thats the imprecation<\/p>\n
and one we should discuss<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
no animals should be put through this<\/p>\n
by the ignorant who do<\/p>\n
such terrible things to elephants<\/p>\n
and blame it on to you<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
feel that animals terror<\/p>\n
as it sucks in \u00a0each breath<\/p>\n
beaten around the feet and trunk<\/p>\n
perhaps it prays for death<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
to come now with its sickle<\/p>\n
to chop away at life<\/p>\n
and free him from this agony<\/p>\n
