It’s clear to me there’s bias
\nAnd those who generally
\nEmphasise green issues
\nAre powerful and can be<\/p>\n
Well informed and creative
\nFor the need is always there
\nBut it sadly is still neglected
\nIn the scenario all share<\/p>\n
The greener issues stem
\nFrom economics too
\nAnd are so very important
\nBut for certain reasons do<\/p>\n
Frighten ruling parties
\nFor although the truth is there
\nGreen issues should be paramount
\nAnd ones we all should share<\/p>\n
UKIP, the Tories and labour
\nThey are puppets on a string
\nKnotted up and festooned
\nwith the clutter that they bring<\/p>\n
They have no power really
\nIt’s the higher groups that rule
\nThe banker class it’s a real farce
\nAnd for me it does appal<\/p>\n
It’s because they are so blatant
\nLeaving the greens to be
\nAlmost like confetti
\nThat’s kind of nice to see<\/p>\n
But blows about all over
\nand does not account for much
\nAnd economically speaking
\nappears so out of touch<\/p>\n
This is the consensus
\nFrom the puppets as they swing
\nManipulated by the grubby fingers
\nthat all bring<\/p>\n
The fracking and the hunting
\nBig Oil Big Pharma too
\nInjecting power and wisdom
\nWhich is what the leaders do<\/p>\n
And many do not know this
\nAnd lots don’t even care
\nAnd who gets on the telly
\nAnd who gets to air<\/p>\n
Their policies, their promises
\nTheir direction is construed
\nThere is no space where they can fit
\nThey are alien to the brood<\/p>\n
They are the fingers in the dyke
\nBrigade
\nThe tree huggers and the like
\nWho seldom drive a rolls Royce
\nBut often ride a bike
\nThe greens have varied policies
\nRebounding on those who
\nPollute destroy and damage
\nAll of us and YOU<\/p>\n
Then chem trails and the methane
\nFox hunting and the like
\nThe power crazed corporations
\nWhen the iron is hot they strike<\/p>\n
The greens will get short shrift
\nFrom general elections here
\nBesides we’re ruled by Europe
\nAnd soon the Deutsch mark may reappear<\/p>\n
As the greens are anti nuclear
\nAnd anti fracking too
\nIt goes against the grain
\nAnd it’s not what they want to do<\/p>\n
It rocks too many little boats
\nAnd the bigger boats as well
\nAnd really they are a spent force
\nOf no consequence in HELL<\/p>\n
But I think they are wrong on this
\nThey should actually defy
\nThose bankers in their ivory towers
