\nAnimals Australia has shown us

\nHow animals are treated
\nVindictively aggressively
\nWickedness is clearly shown
\nAnd by your silence

\nTo see the animals suffer
\nThis is criminality displayed
\nFor all to see
\nThey are blameless victims
\nDumped in far off places
\nAnd it’s as if we had done it

Look into their faces
\nEntering death’s door
\nBy the gutter of resentment
\nWhat is that all for
\nSuch shameless amorality
\nIt’s Irreligious and profane
\nThe people they are peccant
\nAnd some must be insane
\nIt’s good for nothing evil
\nAnd a contravention of the laws

A Festival of sacrifice
\nBeaten bruised and stabbed
\nWhipped until they cry out
\nWith rusty knives they are jabbed

\nTied up in the backs of trucks

\nWho clearly is in pain
\nWhose eyes tell us she’s frightened
\nAnd under enormous strain<\/p>\n
Sheep thrown in to wheelbarrows
\nSo roughly,it’s so wrong
\nThese a living thinking feeling souls
\nWho don’t belong
\nIn such unlawful situations
\nSuch improbity
\nIt’s grotesque to witness this
\nUnbelievable cruelty<\/p>\n
And these are Australian animals
\nThe revulsion of it all
\nIt is an abomination
\nOf course it does appal
\nAny thinking caring human being
\nSo why not
\nYou now get behind this
\nAnd not talk so much rot<\/p>\n
Some of those poor sweet animals
\nThe blood bath they observed
\nWas there’s I cannot imagine
\nThat must make one unnerved
\nIt couldn’t have been worse
\nThe agony of it all
\nThe farmers and the shippers
\nSomehow have the gall
\nTo count their miserable dollars
\nAnd imagine all is well
\nWhen they shipped their
\nInnocent charges
\nOn those ships direct to hell<\/p>\n
Where is the humility
\nIt’s humbling to know
\nAs they were broken spirited
\nThe bank balance did grow
\nIt’s all about export figures
\nHigh fives and back patting stuff
\nShort lived my friends for karma
\nHas had about enough<\/p>\n
Australia of course you will see
\nNo matter what you do
\nBeing unkind to animals
\nMeans you are clueless too

\nAnd, it’s just everywhere
\nScreaming people violence
\nIt’s all done in the street
\nWhere traffic carts and such aggression

Imagine just one moment
\nYou lying in a pool
\nOf your own blood
\nAnd the dull thud
\nAs your heart begins to call
\nTime as life is leaving
\nYour eyes can still just see
\nAnother knife comes into stab
\nYes so brutally<\/p>\n
Your life on earth is over
\nThe green grass of before
\nThe sunlight and the water
\nAnd in this awful war
\nThe agony is too much
\nThe ugliness is too
\nWith memories of loved ones
\nWho never will see you<\/p>\n
Sabre rattling terror
\nTrepidation and
\nSuicidal arrogance
\nThe flames of hell are fanned
\nThe summer land it beckons
\nHopefully it might
\nJust allows us freedom
\nAnd some earned respite<\/p>\n
The government of Australia
\nI do not appeal to you
\nI tell you from the bottom of my gut
\nWhat you must do
\nStop this trade in animals
\nStop it right away
\nWe cannot let it continue

The price is far to awful
