If it hadn’t been for mother
\nI wouldn’t be here today
\nAnd as the veil gets thinner
\nI want in fact to pay<\/p>\n
My respects to my dear mother
\nCalling on her to see
\nIf she is now in less pain
\nThan when she passed on actually<\/p>\n
And to offer ancestors who
\nHave, gone before me
\nPerhaps they light a candle
\nFor I expect to see<\/p>\n
Them soon
\nmy time is coming when
\nMy eyes close’ and I
\nLeave this place forever and
\nTo Walk away and die<\/p>\n
To be Someone else’s ancestor
\nI have no children so
\nMaybe on the other side
