There it stands
\nAn old brick structure
\nGates at front
\nAnd at the side
\nA pipe
\nA rush of sacred water
\nIn the darkness
\nWho may hide<\/p>\n
Well house lane close by the yew tree
\nBranches,of the chalice well
\nUp the lane towards the Tor
\nIt’s a steep walk
\nI can tell<\/p>\n
My legs were hurting
\nAnd I imagined
\nLong ago a path perhaps
\nIn the earth below us raging
\nA river through the catacombs
\nThat’s traps<\/p>\n
Air and minerals nowadays
\nWhere weeds grow all about
\nNo one really tends this area
\nMoss and litter leave no doubt <\/p>\n
lots of houses crammed together
\nSome not in the best of wear
\nAnd heavy traffic round those bends
\nCan catch the unsuspecting there<\/p>\n
Take your bottles to the white spring
\nCharge yourself and take away
\nHear the rush of icy water
\nIt’s energy is every day<\/p>\n
Telluric streams create the thrust
\nIt’s magical in Many a way
