{"id":18427,"date":"2014-10-24T08:41:11","date_gmt":"2014-10-24T08:41:11","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/cooksdelight.co.uk\/blog\/?p=18427"},"modified":"2014-10-24T08:56:12","modified_gmt":"2014-10-24T08:56:12","slug":"languishing-in-their-miserable-stalls","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/cooksdelight.co.uk\/blog\/2014\/10\/languishing-in-their-miserable-stalls\/","title":{"rendered":"Languishing in their miserable stalls"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>It&#8217;s so sad for the lack of sensitivity<br \/>\nTowards the innocent infants on the farm<br \/>\nProfit, margins,overdrafts,and mortgages<br \/>\nHave come between sweet sanity and harm<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m sure that many farmers are not evil<br \/>\nIt&#8217;s just tHeir supermarket buyers are<br \/>\nThey tie them up in knots with regulations<br \/>\nAnd will not pay the right price so they scar<\/p>\n<p>Everything and make their inroads powerfully<br \/>\nThat draws the finer feelings with such shit<br \/>\nAnd so in all of this the poor farm animals<br \/>\nEspecially the infants where they sit<\/p>\n<p>Is right down on the ground for there&#8217;s no profit<br \/>\nThey need the milk that human beings drink<br \/>\nThey want all that colostrum to build their tiny bones<br \/>\nBut so do the supermarket hordes that think<\/p>\n<p>Their yogurts, cheese and mousses are important<br \/>\nAnd so the baby cow can starve to death<br \/>\nCaught up in the maelstrom of convenience<br \/>\nAnd so denied the milk, the love the breath<\/p>\n<p>Baby cows are abused for cheese and rennet<br \/>\nBaby cows are abused for bloody veal<br \/>\nBaby cows are stolen from their mothers<br \/>\nJust imagine you lot how that must feel<\/p>\n<p>Awful,it is terrible that we do this<br \/>\nAbusive,unkind evil in a way<br \/>\nWe kidnap baby cows and many just are killed<br \/>\nBut the mothers die a bit inside each day<\/p>\n<p>I mean to say they have carried their little charges<br \/>\nThrough the rigours that the farm has set<br \/>\nNine months of aggravation they felt the cold they felt the heat<br \/>\nAnd they did sweat<\/p>\n<p>They gave birth and the miracle was obvious<br \/>\nBut the farmers wouldn&#8217;t let them bond for he<br \/>\nWants to flog the milk to feed the humans<br \/>\nSo the calves can rot in hell reluctantly<\/p>\n<p>And what I ask are all you vegetarians<br \/>\nHoly than thou what you must do<br \/>\nIs think about all those souls who are dying<br \/>\nThat you begrudge yes you begrudge them too<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s not all bloody carnivores who are guilty<br \/>\nIt&#8217;s every single one of us who lives<br \/>\nWhether we are vegan veggie macro or a carnivore<br \/>\nThe molestation here it really gives<\/p>\n<p>We are anything but kind man unkind represents<br \/>\nThe ugly selfish nasty things we do<br \/>\nA baby needs its mother<br \/>\nA baby needs its milk<br \/>\nBut dairy farmers have lost their way<br \/>\nIn contracts and that ilk<\/p>\n<p>Tied up in their daily chores<br \/>\nThe balance sheets the bank<br \/>\nThe supermarkets will not pay<br \/>\nThe right price to be frank<\/p>\n<p>The customer that&#8217;s you and me<br \/>\nWe listen but we don&#8217;t hear<br \/>\nThe babies sobbing In their sheds<br \/>\nWe fail to see each tear<\/p>\n<p>And tears there are from mothers<br \/>\nAnd babies they are there<br \/>\nGo and see a dairy farm<br \/>\nAnd realise and share<\/p>\n<p>Realise the horror<br \/>\nRealise the pain<br \/>\nRealise the obvious<br \/>\nTheir life should be not In vain<\/p>\n<p>Realise you are not a cow<br \/>\nRealise the fact<br \/>\nThat you can live without their milk<br \/>\nBut the babies they react<\/p>\n<p>By dying or just being killed<br \/>\nFor they cost and want to drink<br \/>\nThe milk that goes to humans<br \/>\nSo stop a while and think<\/p>\n<p>Each time you eat your cheese mate<br \/>\nOr knock back some ice cream<br \/>\nOr eat some cadbury&#8217;s chocolate<br \/>\nYou can say it s all \u00e0 dream<\/p>\n<p>But for them it&#8217;s such a nightmare<br \/>\nThe agony of strife<br \/>\nThe emergence of a devil<br \/>\nThat takes away their life<\/p>\n<p>They suffer how they suffer<br \/>\nAnd it gets worse everyday<br \/>\nAll the while we drink their milk<br \/>\nThey haven&#8217;t any say<\/p>\n<p>They have to feel abused and sad<br \/>\nFor we have deemed it so<br \/>\nThey are only born so we can drink<br \/>\nTheir milk they have to go<\/p>\n<p>And go they do most of them<br \/>\nThroats slit bleeding  out<br \/>\nDancing on the chain of death<br \/>\nThat&#8217;s what their life&#8217;s about<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>It&#8217;s so sad for the lack of sensitivity Towards the innocent infants on the farm Profit, margins,overdrafts,and mortgages Have come between sweet sanity and harm I&#8217;m sure that many farmers are not evil It&#8217;s just tHeir supermarket buyers are They &hellip;
