\nAnd he shot a deer
\nJust one in 20,000 born
\nHis father says he is very proud
\nHe’s kind of reached a dawn
\nWithin his hunting experience
\nTo have slaughtered this dear soul
\nThis sentient this rarity
\nTo have taken control<\/p>\n
He feels just like a rock star
\nA person of repute
\nRemarkable and prominent
\nAnd that’s just at the root
\nOf everything he’s feeling
\nWhat they intend to do
\nIs ask the taxidermist
\nFor a full body mount
\nTo view<\/p>\n
This creature dead and lifeless
\nFor all his years to be
\nReminded that he killed this living soul
\nSo wild and free
\nJust to say he had done it
\nHe ended its sweet life
\nEnded it pure journey
\nAnd brought its share of strife<\/p>\n
What selfishness is this I say
\nWhat evil to be sure
\nThe hunter and the hunted
\nFor a dead beast on the floor
\nThe father to have taught the boy

\nIs criminal and vile to the extreme
