To be ignorant one has to trust the arrogant
\nAnd this is a combination that can’t be
\nThere is too much at stake
\nThere isn’t give and take
\nAnd this is what we see with history<\/p>\n
The young the sick the disenfranchised
\nPeople
\nThe coloured souls prisoners and those
\nSoldiers and the wounded all are vulnerable
\nAnd if quietly trusting
\nThe risk grows<\/p>\n
This goes back a while
\nBack to the forties
\nThe Manhattan Project
\nAnd the need to know
\nWhat happens if plutonium
\nIs ingested
\nCould animals be used
\nAnd could they show<\/p>\n
The right results
\nThe tests were unaccountable
\nMany Beagles died but no one knew
\nWhat would happen if it happened to humans
\nSomeone thus agreed to turn that screw
\nTo test these radionuclides on the people
\nHush it up and let few people see
\nInject the plutonium into them but not tell them
\nAnd watch what happened that was in fact the key<\/p>\n
And so this toxic terror was injected
\nAnd people died and others frantically
\nTook on tremendous tumours they ‘d heard
\nAll the rumours some suspected
\nBut could never see<\/p>\n
The doctors didn’t know
\nNor did the family
\nThe patient took the can
\nAnd paid the price
\nMany had so many complications
\nAnd died their death which truly wasn’t nice<\/p>\n
Subterfuge and a government in tune with it
\nDoctors and the educated souls
\nThey were inhumane to all their charges
\nHow sad and cruel they were
\nWith their controls
\nIn effect of course signing death warrants
\nMany many before their due time
\nMany died in agony and feeling very sick
\nAnd other once they laid down couldn’t climb<\/p>\n
Back out of their beds for being fearful
\nThey suffered all the vagaries of man
\nAnd it was being carried out in orphanages
\nDispensing radiation was the plan
\nDisabled children and pregnant women got a dose
\nIt was going to kill them that’s for sure
\nHow professional doctors can create this
\nBloody evil
\nAnd smile in fact and then walk out the door<\/p>\n
They then dispersed the dust out of the vehicles
\nThey turned it on the unsuspecting who
\nMight have just been coming back from school that day
\nAnd got a dose and all without a clue
\nThey would probably just feel a bit poorly
\nAnd put it down to stress and let it fly
\nTake the tablets that of course were offered
\nAnd some lay down and truthfully just die<\/p>\n
Those that died and many did prematurely
\nWere exhumed from their graves
\nAnd checked out to see
\nWhere the plutonium had ended up in their bodies
\nAnd had their organs dealt effectively
\nSome were paid off others told to button it
\nGuinea pigs reluctantly they had become
\nThey were treating people just like numbers
\nNo wonder some rebelled however numb
\nAnd who knows what then happened to the experiment
\nEileen Welsome discovered it and she
\nResearching medical records and charting radiation
\nIt was all in dusty files no one could see<\/p>\n
Imagine it was somebody you cared about
\nSelected for this experiment or you
\nPerhaps someone you loved and cherished avidly
\nWhat the hell would you be expected to do
\nThey killed them with their radio active nonsense
\nGave them cancers made them take the wrap
\nDamaged them and subjected them to agony
\nScience in a nutshell sold its crap<\/p>\n
Many died excruciating periods
\nSome lost all their children what a way
\nTo come into existence and be treated
\nAs if you were an experiment each day
\nThose victims would be sickly and infirm
\nSome already suffering from cancers
\nOr wounded and battle scarred and so long term
\nDidn’t have a really long term future
\nSo they were selected to be killed
\nBut no one said a dickey bird to anyone
\nAuthorising their blood to be spilled<\/p>\n
It happened as an accident in a laboratory
\nWhen plutonium was spilled and they wanted to know
\nWhat the long term affects were of a mishap
\nAnd thousands died in agony to show
\nWhoever so called medicine was culpable
\nThe government were riddled with pure scum
\nIt mattered not that they were educated
\nTheir acts of evil left so many numb<\/p>\n
Still to this day these experiments are abhorrent
\nA revulsion that ones government could do
\nSuch an act of loathing it really is obnoxious
\nHad you been around it could have been you
\nRepellent and so nauseous one wonders
\nWhether they are doing this now still
\nAnd long after we’re dead and gone
\nSomeone finds they were
\nYour right to life never ever will<\/p>\n
Be fulfilled your gone and lost forever
\nNobody hears your sad lament again
\nI can’t bring myself to realise this antipathy
\nIt brings tears to me eyes
\nFor I feel their pain<\/p>\n
A government of stooges
\nAnd corporate creeps who made
\nDecisions about life itself
\nStole the lives of many
\nThose as our memories fade
\nIn the minds of many
\nKarma strikes a chord
\nHopefully the universe
\nWill give them their reward<\/p>\n

\nHer courage clearly too
