An enchanting play on delightfulness
\nIn the cottage where we stayed
\nIt’s boundary wall is the abbey wall
\nWhich would have course been made
\nCenturies ago and forms the boundary
\nTo where
\nAn apple tree and a raised platform
\nGracefully now share<\/p>\n
That glimpse of Arthurian legend
\nA tranquility where we
\nCould go back in time quite easily
\nTo a land of mystery
\nMoonstone cottage Bere lane
\nA busy little place
\nPeering through the gateway
\nLife goes on at a pace
\nBut inside we are so comfortable
\nIn this eclectic cocoon
\nThis really happy haven
\nWe’re inside a balloon
\nAnd it’s stunning it’s just home from home
\nWith salt lamps and much charm
\nInside the moonstone cottage
\nWalls
\nIt all feels really calm<\/p>\n
Some music maybe TV
\nVideo’\/s to see
\nLots of books and magazines
\nAnd guides really the key
\nIs the lovely Katarina a warm
\nAnd sincere soul
\nDelightful really
\nAnd friendly and helpful
\nIt’s a role
\nShe takes on really avidly
\nAnd you feel her to be your friend
\nA log store in the garden a lizard that does wend
\nIt’s way up on the roof toward the gable
\nWhere it sits
\nThe table in the sun perhaps
\nA swinging chair that sits
\nBeside a vine it’s quiet and so secluded and we feel
\nAble to relax a while
\nAnd just chill out for real<\/p>\n
With Glastonbury encircling
\nWith it’s great responsive smile
\nA high street decked with quirky shops
\nOccult books and a mile
\nOf really splendid contrasts
\nClothes and crystals there
\nReally a uniqueness
\nThat no town can compare
\nWith the Tor and the sea not far
\nAway
\nMoonstone cottage really got us hooked
\nMore so each day
\nIt’s so settled<\/p>\n
and so comfortable
\nAnd so relaxing we
\nClearly took in Somerset
\nand all it’s mystery<\/p>\n
A parking bay in front of house
\nSo easy to unload
\nBut it is a little difficult
\nto reverse off of the road
\nBut that apart the experience
\nOf the family now next door
\nWho kind of just looked after us
\nWe didn’t want for more
\nI thoroughly do recommend
\nThis delightful little place
\nIt’s somewhere we shall return to
\nAnd keep it as our base<\/p>\n
