Darkness seemingly can
\nfeel quite negative
\nBut not to those nocturnal souls
\nwho ply
\nThey feel free and positive
\nmore so than some think
\nFor seldom do the human tribe

The veil between the living and those passing
\nIs thinner at this time as some can see
\nLife and death is a cycle pure and simple
\nAnd we all know what ancestors mean for we<\/p>\n
At Samhain concentrate our finer thoughts upon
\nThose who took the silent path to where
\nWe all go in the passage through the darkness
\nAnd look back at this time our worlds to share<\/p>\n
The wider family stepped up and were always
\nWith us in our journeys through true time
\nThose that closed their eyes and left for other plains
\nAnd took the higher mountains for to climb<\/p>\n
We think of them as fondly as we ever can
\nEach one of them brings tears that wet our cheek
\nSamhain and the roll rights as we ramble as we share
\nThe rich November evening and recite the pagans prayer<\/p>\n
We may see them we may feel them they are closer than we know
\nBreathing sharing life itself the great eternal glow
\nThat draws us ever onwards into darkness into light
