The day had come
\nto leave, and Cristina
\ndecided she
\nwould bring the little children
\nand Victoria
\nand we<\/p>\n

drove off to the airport
\nbut in the way of things
\ngot lost, the cost of missing
\nmy flight and all that brings
\nI didn’t want to leave
\nmy heart was set on staying there
\nBut Cristina, stayed with me
\nI was not sure that was fair<\/p>\n

For her, but we had lunch together
\nDIMSUM yes upstairs
\nmoments in time to cherish
\nthose poignant times
\none shares
\nI wished that I could stay on
\nbut I knew I had to go
\nmy bags were packed
\nthat was a fact
\nAs an old man well
\nI know<\/p>\n

But the child in me
\nwas dispirited
\nmy sadness overflowed
\nMy darling friend had been so kind
\nI knew how much I owed
\nto her for all the
\ntime she spent, making
\nme feel great
\nHer love was really special
\nbut it was getting late<\/p>\n

I had to go
\nto board the flight
\ninside my heart was torn
\nsoft tears rolled
\nhow ever old
\none is
\nI felt that dawn
\nhad come
\nwe hugged and she was gone
\nand I was lost again
\nand as it happened in KL
\nthe whole trip felt insane<\/p>\n

things didn’t really go to plan
\nand I was left to feel
\nif only Cristina was with me now
\nBut of course I knew life’s real
\nthe dreams had turned to nightmares
\nmy taxi didn’t come
\nand in that violent tropical storm
\nI did I just felt numb<\/p>\n

Lost, infact decidedly
\nit had been so good to be
\nin the warm hands
\nof my darling friend
\nwho looked after me
\nBut I didn’t need to panic
\nAn angel showed his face
\nBAX a boy from Kuala Lumpur
