To look down on an animal<\/p>\n
as majestic as the bull<\/p>\n
shows Spain is in a dull light<\/p>\n
clearly she is full<\/p>\n
of dumbed down souls<\/p>\n
with hardened hearts<\/p>\n
who come out in the street<\/p>\n
and watch a proud soul<\/p>\n
dragged along<\/p>\n
trying to compete<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
with the cobbles<\/p>\n
cutting into him<\/p>\n
tearing off his back<\/p>\n
this soul is bleeding terribly<\/p>\n
and taking added flack<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
from people and their children<\/p>\n
with paint cans in their hands<\/p>\n
spraying paint all over the bull<\/p>\n
what are their plans<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
why would anybody do this<\/p>\n
what ugly violence they<\/p>\n
offer to a dying bull<\/p>\n
who with his life does pay<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
look at his snorting muzzle<\/p>\n
blood dripping rich and red<\/p>\n
hear his breath as he welcomes death<\/p>\n
I do come away<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
with a feeling of extreme remorse<\/p>\n
for a fellow earthling who<\/p>\n
has been treated so despicably<\/p>\n
and humiliated too<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
his pain I share his agony<\/p>\n
his eyes peer at the sky<\/p>\n
the people he can hear them<\/p>\n
wishing him to die<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
irreverence its everywhere<\/p>\n
of course its wrong to see<\/p>\n
an animal in such a dire state<\/p>\n
gazing back at me<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
and a crowd of monsters<\/p>\n
enjoying what they see<\/p>\n
all of them lack conscience<\/p>\n
and share complicity<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
for children to be doing this<\/p>\n
that bull must feel the need<\/p>\n
to go off to his living ground<\/p>\n
and honestly concede<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
that even little children<\/p>\n
are as cruel as cruel can be<\/p>\n
taught this by their parents who stand<\/p>\n
in front of \u00a0me<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
chortling and laughing<\/p>\n
and imagining that they<\/p>\n
have every right to do this<\/p>\n
to a bull now anyway<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
