“Milda” was adopted<\/p>\n
unwanted in a way<\/p>\n
not loved like she could have been<\/p>\n
but loyal enough to stay<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
so many dogs go through this<\/p>\n
and come out the other side<\/p>\n
still anything but happy<\/p>\n
which cannot be denied<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
this particular dog though<\/p>\n
was adopted by<\/p>\n
a women who was upright<\/p>\n
and her feelings truly high<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
she loved the under dogs of life<\/p>\n
her perception of them true<\/p>\n
whether human beings<\/p>\n
or dogs she tried to do<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
what society had neglected<\/p>\n
to do<\/p>\n
and thankfully<\/p>\n
ex cons and dogs were grateful<\/p>\n
and loved her tenderly<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
wrongdoers often get the<\/p>\n
thick end of a wedge thereafter<\/p>\n
with police records and employment<\/p>\n
some see little laughter<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
they struggle and they re offend<\/p>\n
and life becomes a pain<\/p>\n
but this special women<\/p>\n
saw it as it was<\/p>\n
and helped them gain<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
respect again she helped through<\/p>\n
the vagaries of life<\/p>\n
picked them up when they fell down<\/p>\n
and helped them with the strife<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
she knew all about the loyalty<\/p>\n
and a sense of duty for<\/p>\n
those who really lost their way<\/p>\n
who she just did not ignore<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
her claims of conscience<\/p>\n
took her far<\/p>\n
and obligation she<\/p>\n
took upon her shoulders<\/p>\n
and did it dutifully<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
she did intercede<\/p>\n
when others failed along the way<\/p>\n
she was clearly merciful<\/p>\n
and her forbearance it did play<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
a huge part \u00a0in ability<\/p>\n
to really help those who<\/p>\n
had reached a point of no return<\/p>\n
not knowing what to do<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
“milda” came into her world<\/p>\n
and perceptively could feel<\/p>\n
this women had so very much<\/p>\n
her love was clearly real<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
for she adopted many<\/p>\n
that society shunned all day<\/p>\n
and brought them out of darkness<\/p>\n
and helped all of them pay<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
“milda”grew to love her<\/p>\n
a mother she never had<\/p>\n
and for many years was cared for<\/p>\n
and then of course so sad<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
the lady at a great age<\/p>\n
she tragically passed away<\/p>\n
and “Milda” \u00a0realizing<\/p>\n
just wanted to stay<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
close by her afterall<\/p>\n
her friend was everybody’s friend<\/p>\n
everybody loved her<\/p>\n
they did so in the end<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
how could she up and leave them<\/p>\n
a consequence of life<\/p>\n
and so she stayed for the funeral<\/p>\n
sharing all that strife<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
that everybody shared that day<\/p>\n
waving farewell to<\/p>\n
a women and a carer<\/p>\n
who loved souls their lives through<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
who never had a mean word<\/p>\n
for any of them at all<\/p>\n
who always was behind them<\/p>\n
in case they did fall<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
she chose that obligation<\/p>\n
and \u00a0she was duty bound<\/p>\n
unconditional caring<\/p>\n
for the waifs and strays<\/p>\n
around<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
she died \u00a0and they were stricken<\/p>\n
as was Milda but now she<\/p>\n
is being cared for by some of them<\/p>\n
unconditionally<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
