as the Autumn Equinox<\/p>\n
gave them equal light<\/p>\n

hazel berry clusters<\/p>\n
trailing Ivy green<\/p>\n
pink corn fields<\/p>\n
lit up by the sun<\/p>\n
on a great September scene<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
peering out from a grey cloud<\/p>\n
a golden orb did smile<\/p>\n
a whispering late afternoon<\/p>\n
gave it all some style<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
the pagans found their way to where<\/p>\n
a labyrinth \u00a0was set<\/p>\n
and walked its course<\/p>\n
of myriad rings<\/p>\n
within its maze like net<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
made of cord and bird seed<\/p>\n
its spirals would ignite<\/p>\n
the minds of those now entering<\/p>\n
the enigma of the light<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
that poured \u00a0out of the heavens<\/p>\n
and thrust its power into<\/p>\n
the hills and \u00a0fields beyond us all<\/p>\n
to awaken us with new<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
energy of the Autumn Equinox<\/p>\n
thats helps us see<\/p>\n
the \u00a0countenance of colours<\/p>\n
transposed delightfully<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
we joined a perfect circle<\/p>\n
held hands and we as one<\/p>\n
the ritual conjured energies<\/p>\n
the deities were done<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
we thanked and honoured ancestors<\/p>\n
the gods and goddesses who<\/p>\n
helped protect our harvests<\/p>\n
and truly brought us through<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
stories and some anecdotes<\/p>\n
were shared and we could feel<\/p>\n
the honour and the togetherness<\/p>\n
really it was real<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
the speaking stick<\/p>\n
was given, and was passed around<\/p>\n
and everyone contributed<\/p>\n
drawn energy from the ground<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
shared it with the circle<\/p>\n
took it to the skies<\/p>\n
ran it through the hearts and minds<\/p>\n
to where the great owl flies<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
kinship, friendship closeness<\/p>\n
the feelings given and shared<\/p>\n
the vital balance offered<\/p>\n
and clearly hearts were bared<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
a ritual, of gratitude<\/p>\n
symbolic to us all<\/p>\n
creative in our reasoning<\/p>\n
which around this date does fall<\/p>\n

strangers many of us<\/p>\n
who were drawn together where<\/p>\n
