regrowth and harvest<\/span><\/p>\n about half way<\/p>\n Beltaine and Lammas<\/p>\n some might say<\/p>\n God and the Goddess<\/p>\n their energy<\/p>\n combined<\/p>\n entwined<\/p>\n for there it be<\/p>\n love and beauty<\/p>\n passion too<\/p>\n marvellous light just shining through<\/p>\n fertility the garlands worn<\/p>\n of elderflower ribbons that adorn<\/p>\n light and flowing<\/p>\n yellow’s whites<\/p>\n the sun god warms<\/p>\n the ensuing nights<\/p>\n blossoms and \u00a0fragrance<\/p>\n pretty flowers<\/p>\n harvested fruits<\/p>\n and rainbow showers<\/p>\n baskets of food<\/p>\n and medicinal herbs<\/p>\n flowers in our hair<\/p>\n as along the kerbs<\/p>\n we skip and run<\/p>\n as sunlight falls<\/p>\n the bonfires are lit<\/p>\n in the great dark halls<\/p>\n in the forests dark<\/p>\n flames rise and fall<\/p>\n parties grow louder<\/p>\n just let us call<\/p>\n the bright romance<\/p>\n and fertility<\/p>\n the glowing embers<\/p>\n naturally<\/p>\n scoop up the ashes<\/p>\n for amulets and spells<\/p>\n and charms and tree roots<\/p>\n lets ring the bells<\/p>\n beeswax candles<\/p>\n golden charms<\/p>\n lavender, mint<\/p>\n and wild rose balms<\/p>\n vibrant greens petals galore<\/p>\n the longest day<\/p>\n of that I’m sure<\/p>\n the sacred circles are ours to hold<\/p>\n to join together<\/p>\n in them we’re rolled<\/p>\n each one circles<\/p>\n the one before<\/p>\n and builds our picture<\/p>\n on life some more<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" regrowth and harvest about half way Beltaine and Lammas some might say God and the Goddess their energy combined entwined for there it be love and beauty passion too marvellous light just shining through fertility the garlands worn of elderflower … Continue reading
