and true consideration<\/p>\n
of just how it should be<\/p>\n
we talk about other earthlings<\/p>\n
each has it place on earth<\/p>\n
its shouldn’t be a handbag<\/p>\n
for it had far more worth<\/p>\n
whoever created the designer<\/p>\n
created the fox as well<\/p>\n
if the fox was killed it mattered not<\/p>\n
that is how I tell<\/p>\n
the fortune of a wild soul<\/p>\n
and don’t expect to see<\/p>\n
it stuffed and cured and treated<\/p>\n
it doesn’t feel right to me<\/p>\n
a sort of creative embalming<\/p>\n
thus \u00a0recreating a need<\/p>\n
who would want to carry<\/p>\n
a dead fox and indeed<\/p>\n
made into a bag<\/p>\n
its head boiled and re styled<\/p>\n
its eyes \u00a0alluring gem stones<\/p>\n
its permanency beguiled<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
a shawl perhaps to wrap around<\/p>\n
a delicate old throat<\/p>\n
to cover up the wrinkles<\/p>\n
not something I would dote<\/p>\n
its irreverence and ridicule<\/p>\n
it puts us all to shame<\/p>\n
despise this kind of artwork<\/p>\n
to me its just profane<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
it inflames my inner admiration<\/p>\n
for that little soul<\/p>\n
knocked down by some speeding car<\/p>\n
maybe out of control<\/p>\n
I give my salutations<\/p>\n
paying homage as I go<\/p>\n
it should be laid to rest somewhere<\/p>\n
possibly below<\/p>\n
a heap of leaves<\/p>\n
some sodden earth<\/p>\n
somewhere quiet and calm<\/p>\n
not paraded about on the arm<\/p>\n
of some hag fit to \u00a0embalm<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
I know its a creation<\/p>\n
some designer feels<\/p>\n
what she does is beautiful<\/p>\n
to me all it reveals<\/p>\n
is a total lack of respect<\/p>\n
for a wild creature<\/p>\n
and to me<\/p>\n
brings art and design into darkness<\/p>\n
not the light where it could be<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
I will not see it in any other way<\/p>\n
a feel the need<\/p>\n
celebrate a precious life<\/p>\n
wherever it may lead<\/p>\n
creating insignificant items<\/p>\n
from the body of a soul<\/p>\n
and making it look younger<\/p>\n
disrespects its role<\/p>\n
and so I beg to not agree<\/p>\n
with the transformation here<\/p>\n
I am disenchanted by it<\/p>\n
I guess that now is clear<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
it may have been a road kill<\/p>\n
but then respect is due<\/p>\n
to take its precious body<\/p>\n
and create something new<\/p>\n
for me I’m unimpressed by it<\/p>\n
taxidermy yes<\/p>\n
I just about accept that<\/p>\n
but this I do confess<\/p>\n
makes me feel uncomfortable<\/p>\n
its kind of cavalier<\/p>\n
