A party was called<\/p>\n
a film show to be<\/p>\n
a meal full of meat<\/p>\n
lets lament gracefully<\/p>\n
the suffering obvious<\/p>\n
the punishment too<\/p>\n
but only the animal<\/p>\n
suffer so you<\/p>\n
can partake of its flesh<\/p>\n
of its muscle and fat<\/p>\n
of its sinew and blood<\/p>\n
where it was at<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
downtrodden and woebegone<\/p>\n
wretched was she<\/p>\n
a mother whose tragic life<\/p>\n
now had to be<\/p>\n
at an end<\/p>\n
so as you the great Carnivore<\/p>\n
could sit at the table<\/p>\n
demanding some more<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
complete desolation<\/p>\n
chagrined mortified<\/p>\n
the idyllic surroundings<\/p>\n
the sensuous side<\/p>\n
and now torn a’sunder<\/p>\n
roasted and cut<\/p>\n
the weariness over<\/p>\n
the door it was shut<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
as they cut through her flesh<\/p>\n
and chewed they could feel<\/p>\n
the texture but thats all<\/p>\n
for them was it real<\/p>\n
was it true<\/p>\n
had she been just some moments ago<\/p>\n
a cow in the pasture<\/p>\n
where for months she did low<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
as one after another<\/p>\n
her friends left her side<\/p>\n
killed for the flesh<\/p>\n
all of them died<\/p>\n
to provide all the protein<\/p>\n
so each carnivore<\/p>\n
could chew and then truly<\/p>\n
appreciate her more<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
watching the film and chewing upon<\/p>\n
the bloody meat<\/p>\n
until it was gone<\/p>\n
did they hear her crying<\/p>\n
did it make their blood boil<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
No they heard nothing<\/p>\n
they didn’t care<\/p>\n
for all of the suffering and agony there<\/p>\n
her life cut short so that they could digest<\/p>\n
or cook her sweet body<\/p>\n
their souls to invest<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
we all are the earthlings<\/p>\n
who inhabit this place<\/p>\n
the wild ones the tamer ones<\/p>\n
the human race<\/p>\n
all live on earth<\/p>\n
thus are earthling and we<\/p>\n
must spare them<\/p>\n
must love them<\/p>\n
for here’s where they be<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
